Join LA STAGE Alliance for LA STAGE Talks: AB5, a conversation about AB5 and its impact on the theatre community.

This event is a collaboration between Arts for LA and Californians for the Arts and is presented in partnership with The MusicCenter.

Californians for the Arts Executive Director, Julie Baker, will present an AB5 information session, including discussing current amendments and expected updates to the bill.

Arts for LA will lead an exercise on crafting an effective advocacy narrative and what steps individuals can take. There will also be time for a forum and community engagement activity. 

Additionally, while this event is specific to theatre artists, everyone is welcome, no matter their creative career or opinion on AB5. This event will be moderated by LA STAGE Alliance to ensure it will be a productive and respectful dialogue.
