Presented by Stephen C. Wagner, professional artist, gallerist, & educator
Stephen C. Wagner has been a guest speaker and has taught workshops and classes for art organizations and colleges throughout California. Through his guest speaking on professional development for artists, Stephen encourages other artists to commit to their artwork and take the steps necessary to become more successful. His lectures offer artists insight to jump-start their artist career, with emphasis on how to obtain clear focus on their intention for their artwork, create a strategic plan for their artist career, create an impressive artist portfolio website, and master the business of art.
Stephen is the managing partner at Arc Gallery in San Francisco. Arc features a 1,000 square foot art gallery and an art education center, with ten artist studios. In addition, he was the Program Development Coordinator for the San Diego Art Institute, has been a consultant for the San Diego Children's Museum, and was on the Board of Directors for Arteach in Palm Desert. To train teachers to incorporate art into their everyday curriculum, Stephen taught Aesthetic Education classes through the University of San Diego Division of Continuing Education.
Stephen has exhibited and sold his artwork in galleries in London, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Laguna Beach, San Francisco, San Diego, Palm Springs, Seattle, New Orleans, Albuquerque, Galveston, Sun Valley, Kauai, Alameda, and San Anselmo, as well as art centers in Oakland, Berkeley, Pacifica, Sebastopol, Petaluma, Benicia, and Tarzana.
