Shyaam’s and Julie’s presentation decks are available for review.

WHEN: March 12, Noon-1:30pm

WHAT: What is advocacy and why does it matter? How do the various levels of Government make decisions that matter to you and how can you engage to ensure your issues are being heard? Join Californians for the Arts in a 90 minute training and webinar designed for beginning advocates. We will cover the basics from who are the policymakers at the local, state and Federal level, what committees matter to arts funding and resource allocation and what is the easiest path for you to get involved.
