As school districts across LA County and California face shrinking budgets and difficult decisions, this training is designed to equip arts & community advocates with concrete policy solutions, budgeting options, and other strategic approaches to ensuring school board members understand how important the arts are in this moment.

Advocates will share their experience working to align arts education with district priorities and explore a variety of arguments & proven program models that can be implemented in 2021-22 budgets & curricula.
