Join Create CA on April 29th on 10:30 AM PST as celebrated author, and Director of UCLArts & Healing, Ping Ho explores the language we can all be using as we race from one zoom meeting to another, to gently but firmly remind our decision makers of the vital role of arts education currently and in the future.  In addition, she will describe some ways to enhance the innate socio-emotional benefits of the arts using simple mental health practices.

Ping will be joined by Jeannine Flores, Arts & STEAM Coordinator for Los Angeles County Office of Education and Dr. Merryl Goldberg, Director of Arts=Opportunity at Cal State San Marcos, who will share specific strategies to integrate as we go about our daily work. We will consider valuable actions to take so we emerge with arts education not only firmly a part of the valued curriculum, but well positioned to grow once we are in recovery.
